hiya all,
just wanted to update all who this might be of any interest. The youth tournament i had been promoting here some time ago will kick off this sunday.
we have reached the 27player mark, and gained a close to 2000€ purely from sponsership for the kids.
now the new news is: there will be an aritcle publishes in one of the biggest national newspapers, with picture of stovie the organiser etc. i know its hard to place it for the people oversea. but ull NEVER see anything about pool in a national newspaper, and even on local newspaper, ull hardly ever see anything exept: start eurotour in holland on day x. and thats it. no ranking, no open, nothing on national bases is hardly ever publishes.
so this aritcle with pictures in a national BIG paper is huge news, and GREATH for the sport in our country and pool in general. proves how one single man with a vision, and LOADS of nice sponser including some AZB'ers, thats just donated for the support, CAN achieve something very nice!
id like to congratz stovie again for starting it all up, and for all the things he has achieved. sadly i wont make it on sunday, as ive got to work in a barr till...xx AM, and then i got my bday to celebrate. i dont think ill be home and sober before the next day.

i already got my favorit... kamila Khodaeva (a 10y old girl ive been talking about already) vs Lammens Stephen (considered one of the future greats for out country. 14y old, he participated in the European championships and won some matches and got some nice articles written about him. he will arive back from a poolschool in holland, so he probably will be death tired. but still an EXCELLENT player). both are able to B&R's several tables. stephens high is in the 80's in 14-1 already i think, and he's only 14y old.
id LOVE to see this match as a final, and i hope i can still make it to tape this match. (but like i said, its my bday, so ... i cant promise anything). if i do tape some matches, ill post them on you tube asap. id love to later maybe show them to my grandkids, if they ever make it into the international tours and become wellknown pro's.
