nice ball markers for referee's?

Those are nice, but for $35 a little spit on the end of my finger will work fine for a long, long time (unless I become a referee at some point).

came around this site, and i saw they had some nice exotic wood ball markers.

ball marker

they look good.

Ship me $30 and I will send you my old cellphone. It has a built in alarm clock, videogames and is a GREAT pocket marker.

In order for a referee to be effective, he/she MUST be capable of marking the spot to the best of their ability, and MUST use tools and equipment that they are familiar with, be it a dime, nickle, slug from a 9mm. Let the ref. do their job, and you worry about yours!@#:p

It's not a pocket marker, it's the device used to mark cue ball position so the ref can clean it.

Aramith makes a lucite one for $5.00. Works great.

My cellphone can do that, too.

wtf

eeuh why do you feel so  ?

i posted it as a question...
i thought they look nice. nothing more , nothing less....

anything i said wrong about referee's?
just ref'd one yesterday in the team competition.

dont take it personal when someone says: hey the wood texture and model looks nice. he's talking about the wood, not about refs, or personal things.;)

the coco one especially looks nice, just my 0.02c. thought someone would like it too.

I know I've seen Nigel Reese and Michaela Tabb sporting ball markers at the WPC, and they wear gloves. I think that helps them look very professional. Whenever I see Steve Tipton put his bare left hand on the table to mark the CB's position and wipe the CB with his right hand, I can't help thinking of Nigel and Michaela. Steve gets the same job done as Nigel and Michaela, but somehow I prefer the way Nigel and Michaela do it.

-djb <-- agrees with Solartje - those ball markers look good
