There are two cues I finished not long before the Russian invasion of my country.
Here is the first one with some really nice woods.
The forearm and buttsleeve are African blackwood which is quite difficult to find in such quality nowadays. It is very old (from the year of 1967).
The segmented handle has three segments with old Pau Rosa in the middle and stabilized maple burl on top and bottom.
The joint collar is black horn and butt cap is black phenolic.
There are six sets of decorative rings at the butt. These decorative rings are the combination of rings out of Pau Rosa, African Blackwood, Satinwood and stabilized maple burl.
The cue comes with two low deflection shafts with Thoroughbred medium tips. The ferrules are combination of tomahawk (the outer part) and moose horn (the inner part).
The cue was built so the extension can be screwed and it also comes with it. In addition it also comes with a nice set of joint protectors.
The specifications of the cue are:
The butt is 29 inch long and weighs 16 oz.
The pin is aluminum 3/8-10 modified.
Shaft 1 is 30 inch long and weighs 3,75 oz. It is 12,9 mm at the ferrule.
Shaft 2 is 30 inch long and weighs 3,65 oz. It's 12,8 mm at the ferrule.
The black hornbeam extension is 7,7 inch and weighs 5,3 oz.
The balance point of the cue is around 18 inch.
There are no weight bolts in the cue or any metal parts with the exception of the pin.
P.S. The cue has really nice hit. Buying this set you have a chance not only to have some fun playing with it but also helping not only me but also those in my country who needs it the most (because I'm going to donate 1/10 of the price).
