Nightly tournaments in Vegas?

I can't remember if it's Cue-Topia or Cue Club. You should check both. As a rule, go to www.poolrooms.com to get local poolroom information. They're a roadplayer's perfect resource.

Pool Sharks (on Decatur blvd see telephone book)on thursdays has one at 7pm 9-ball, thats what I was told on the phone yesterday since I just rolled into town a few days ago...

Thanks JustPlay, I'll be there tonight. I played at The Cue Club last night, only 9 players though, came in 2nd. If you're there tonight, I'll be the big guy with a blue flannel on. Peace, John.

I called pool sharks on thursday and inquired more about the tournament and they wouldn't let me in because new players have to play on monday to get a "handicap rating" for their tournaments. I went there anyways to hit some balls around and was playing with my brother-inlaw and nephew and was approached for some cheap team action and lost the first set for 20. They quit winners because they thought we were on the road hustlin. So we tried to get action after that but no takers, I mean everyone in there was scared.

John, good luck in Vegas! win big! I am heading back to Cleveland Saturday morning.

Yeah, I experienced the same thing with the tournament. I didn't even try to get any action there though. I played at Dealers Choice Friday night, won only 1 match. Damn table was too fast and crooked for me. I played at the Cue Club last night, met Deadstrokeman from here on the forum. Not much else going on in Vegas but I am going to play in the Rum Runner tournament in a couple of weeks. Should be fun! Peace, John.

I played the Rum Runner tournament a couple of times and it was a great tourney. I think you will enjoy it very much.
