iv never played in a league or been to a place that was hosting a league. i grew up in southeast michigan but that was before i was introduced to pool. now im right in between Memphis and Tupelo. either way its an hour drive which is not worth getting into a league. how much does it cost to get into a league normaly? do you have to pay league dues and your covered for the time you play or do you have to pay for your table and league dues? just curious.

It varies a little bit, depending on the league and location.

League dues once a year. Like $15 bucks I think?
Maybe $5 bucks per player, 5 players when you play once a week.
Maybe a dollar or two for the table per person. That all depends on the pool hall and if the owner opens the table for league or not.

Yep, pretty much.

You might poke around on the web a bit - see if you can find out if any of the main leagues (APA, TAP, BCA, ACS, VNEA) have leagues running in your area.

Or you could always just start up a local one - get a local bar or pool hall to agree to play home to it.

We pay $20 per year APA dues, and $30 per team each week ($6 each from the 5 players who actually play)
