1, "Ray Schuler S.L.C." Model number SC200
2. "By Ray Schuler" Model number SC225
For sale NOS Not used cues... Schuler pool cues. These cues are 8 and 10 years old and yet brand new. I bought this cue from Ray's best friend and also one of his mfg reps. I selected these cues from the last of this man's sample case. At 86 years of age he was retired, and the stories he had to tell alone were worth as much as the cues. I think they are a rare find. I bought two and am willing to sell one of them.
Navy blue soft case thrown in.
1. Highly figured birds eye maple with a medium stain to bring out all that rich curly wood grain, with 4 cocobolo point inlays with ebony spear tips. The wrap is brown specked genuine Irish linen. The butt and joint are matching African cocobolo. One std taper shaft included. 19 oz signed "Ray Schuler SLC" Asking $750
2. Highly figured BEM with 4 floating points, two ebony two coco, two brass rings, butt and joint are matching cocobolo also. 29 inch Protaper, 19 oz Hand signed, "by Ray Schuler"... not a mass production cue, created before his death. Asking 1200 will consider a reasonable offer.
Made in the USA..... Made in Palatine IL.
I will confess I did test both cues, 1/2 of 1 game played on each in the basement of Ray's best friend, I couldn't decide which one to buy so I bought both. hoping to sell one of them. The most amazing thing about a Schuler is the Joint that Ray designed 30 years ago. Not that I get out much... but I have never felt a cue with a more solid hit.
