Sometimes you unearth important cues, by accident. A cue you buy might not mean to much until you do the research. Mark spoke to Bill McDaniel at length on this cue. This is the result of that conversation.
  • Fanciest Mac Attack made
  • One of a select very few hand signed by Bill
  • Made early to mid 90's
  • Backend was a collaboration between Timmy Scruggs and Bill. This cue is the first use of that design. This design did show in TS cues at least 96 as the photo shows.
  • Ivory joint (cracked), but rare 3/8-10 big pin
  • Cue is wrapless...
  • Bill stated to build this cue out of Elforyn today, 5-6K.

i am ignorant on these things
so can i assume a "mac attack" is a cue made in collaboration of tim scruggs and bill mcdaniel?

Mac Attack was McDaniels full splice "sneaky pete" style cues. No association with TS..

now i see my confusion
the butt on the mcdaniel has his (mcdaniel ) logo
the design on that butt is seen on a scruggs cue completely different cue with similar designs on the butt
i am alittle slow
thanks for putting up with me...😂

McDaniel used the best woods, flawless execution. I had over a dozen and didn't keep any...one of the biggest regrets of my pool life.

Found this for $1,400 several years back, unplayed. All white ivory, pink ivory and the darkest ebony ever, 207 inlays.
