Ive been doing alot of stroke drills lately, long straight shots and all the other stuff, but I think Ive been over doing it. Now some times I feel unconfident moving away from the center vertical line of the cue ball and its throwing my game off. But when I do the drills I can hit 30 or so full table straight shots in a row.

So the question is.

Should I give up the drills and move on to something else.

or

Keep doing the drills and wait until im over it.

Use what you learn like a metronome. Practice, being a thump; your pressure situation(s) being the other thump(s).

Pick a pace, and stick to it.

If you feel that practice is benign, then challenge yourself. Try some local (local being subjective, conducive to your income) competitions and see how your fair.

All I ask, mind your metronome.

On the contrary, you need to interweeve practice and play.

Practice so far, then challenge, meet a wall, practice so far, then challenge, meet a wall, etc...

and practice in between :)

If your making 30 consecutive full lenght pots then your stroke is probably getting fairly fine tuned. What i would advise you to do is practice those same shots but with varying degrees of side. Not to say stop practicing without it. Many people will say practice the weakest part of your game not the strongest. Well I was a guitar teacher for a few years and I disagree with that. Practice the weakest part of your game, what your least confident in, but dont forget to practice the strong parts as well. Everyone can improve in every area of the game. As a Guitar Player and teacher, I still practice chord changes and scales, even though I can do them as fast fluidly as anyone. But I do make a mistake once in a very long while so thus I continue to practice
