...to kill a tournament :/
I was playing in a tournament this past Saturday. It was down to five of us - two on the winner's side, three (including myself) on the loser's. I had at least 4th locked up.
Whilst the two playable matches were going, BAM - the power goes out. Comes back on a few minutes later, for a few minutes, then out again for good. One gal (g/f of one of the players) was outside smoking and said she saw about three transformers go POW in their typical spectacular fashion.
After a while, the five of us just decided to split the total prize funds even and go home.
On my drive back up to my part of town, I drove at least two-three miles through areas also powerless, with the exception of the traffic lights (thank gawd for that).
