I have a customer which plays with a cue equipped with a UniLoc bullet joint.
The idea is to custom fit a OB2 shaft for him by turning off some of the I.D
on the shaft to match the cue since the threads is the same.

Now, since I don't have the cue (owner is 1300Km from me), could some
kind sole out there measure the OD on the "bullet" for me ?

bullet pin is approx .300 and the uni pin is approx .280,this being said you can also use a bullet shaft on any uni loc if you drill out the insert so it can take the longer pin.

Thanks a bunch.

The idea was to take of the shafts inserts ID to make it a little larger to match
the bullet. As I under stand it on you, the bullet pin is then longer than the normal UniLoc?

I would try to take of 0.02"=0.508mm then and hopefully it would fit when the
customer gets it :)

No just wider, the only reason a bullet shaft doesnt fit any uniloc cue is the brass insert is capped and you must drill through it to fit the longer uni lock pin. This the opposite of what your doing but just info incase you want to still use the poison shaft on something else.
