OB-2 review

I just got my OB-2 shaft in the mail. I must say I like it a lot and really see a difference in how it seems a little stiffer than the OB-1. I highly recommend this shaft if you like a smaller diameter tip.
This is how I would describe the hit:
1. You get a lot of precise action from the cue
- Basically you can shoot with less effort
2. Even higher spin rates with smaller tip than the OB-1
3. Solid feel,
- I like OB-2 shafts more than Predator Z shafts because I don't get that hollow feeling in the hit.
- Less shaft vibration that transfers into more feel at your hand.
4. When I have a very thin and short cut shot to make I notice with both the OB-1 and OB-2 I can easily hit far out on the ball to add a lot of spin and it seems like the cue tip grabs the ball for a longer period time with little deflection. I find that when using a Tiger Ultra shaft I have to literally adjust as if I was hitting a thicker cut because of the increase in cue ball deflection.

That's my take on the new OB-2 shaft.
Keep in mind when switching to an OB shaft of any kind give yourself some time to adjust to the difference in how the shaft plays, your mind automatically adjusts for cue ball deflection so don't get discouraged if you are missing the pocket slightly at first.
You will notice the large difference in cue ball deflection if you get used to an OB shaft and go back to try a conventional shaft.
