OB S-Line shafts

1) What is the difference is between an OB-Cs shaft (Classic S-Line shaft) and an OB Classic+ shaft?

2) Is OB still making 30" shafts?

3) Will OB make a 30" butt in any of their cues, say the OB-135 "Darts" cue? One of the reviews on OB's website for that cue said that they made him/her a 30" butt.

Thanks.

The S-line are NOT laminated. OB is no longer doing laminated wood shafts. The S shafts are solid maple with a lightened front-end and sound damp. core. Kinda like a Mezz. They make 30" shafts. Don't think 30" butts are.

Isn't the laminated shaft what OB is known for? Or, is the lamination no big deal?

OB claims the following about their new S-Line shafts:

Lowest Deflecting OB Shafts Ever Produced
Best feeling OB Shafts Ever Produced (In our opinion)
Best Sounding OB Shafts Ever Produced (In our opinion)
100% Lifetime warranty against warpage

Do you believe it?

They make the same claim for the Fusion. I'm not in the market for one. Lamination helps in radial consistency not LD. Mezz makes their shafts basically the same way, so does the MeucciPro.

I have an OB shaft from when they had the old construction - won't part with it for anything.

I also have some of the "newer" laminated shafts... they are nothing like the old 6+ construction.

I've since switched to Meucci UW Pro - I do like that style of shaft vs. laminated. I may think about checking the OB stuff out again.
