ob shaft warranty question

I have a friend with an original ob-1 shaft pechauer pro joint. The shaft is less than a year old. The threaded insert is loose and rattling. Does anyone know if this would be covered under warranty and if so who could tell me who to contact at OB or maybe give me an email address for someone at OB to talk to about this. Thanks.
