Odega Tip Question

Hey Everyone,

I recently purchased an Odega tip. The logo side obviously has a logo but the side that doesn't has a fairly deep indention dead center. Is this normal for this tip? I have seen small holes on a tip before but never an indention. I asked the seller and he said it was normal and that it was the glue side. For anyone who has installed this tip, can you confirm this is accurate?

Thanks

I had one put on at the derby by orlandi a couple years ago he sanded and installed the side with the logo

Yes! I have installed several of these tips. In fact these are my favorite break tips. I use 3M Scotch Weld DP420. After sanding the tip. I mix up the epoxy and fill the hole in the tip as I paint the epoxy on the tip with a tooth pick. Let the glued on tip sit for 24 hours at 70 degrees before trimming the tip down. Mine has been on my break cue for over a year. I have never had one pop off and is the break tip I recommend.
