I posted this earlier , What do you need to do to have it made a sticky ?

My friend just opened a pool hall in Lancaster Ohio , Lancaster is located 30 miles south of Columbus . He has 8 Valley 7 footers ,2 8 footers and 1 9 footer . I can get table time on the 8 footers and 9 donated to us ( maybe even a couple of the 7 footers too) . I think it would be great to get together for a few games and have some laughs and share some stories , He has a full bar and is in the process of renovating the kitchen . The place was formerly a nite club and now most of the dance floor is covered with tables . The Pro Shop should be done in the next couple of weeks . It will be the premier place to play in south central Ohio by the time he and his partner are done .........I look forward to meeting you all . Maybe we could meet in the afternoon and even play in the tournament on saturday nite ? we are starting to draw some of the best players in central ohio . BTW the name of the place was formerly called the HillTop now it is called Victory Billiards !

I was thinking around may or june , It would be great to nail down a date , then I could work on putting it all together , I have a few good ideas to make it fun for everyone ...

Once you have a date, let me know. I can most likely make it.

I don't think you or I have played together. I was at the DCC this year, but you and I were not there at the same time. I have also been to a few RSB gatherings, but I think all these happened before you were around. I look forward to shooting a few games with you.

Motorhome Parking is Available

I was talking to the owners tonite about the get together and told them that one fellow has contacted me about driving here from Oklahoma in a motorhome and they told me that anyone who does so is welcome to camp/park in the big field adjacent to the parking lot and are welcome to run extension cords for electricity but they are not sure about being able to provide a water hookup ......... I will also be available to ferry any one around town or pick them up from the airport (Port Columbus) !

I would be interested. I live in Dayton and could drive up. The only problem is my wife has to undergo a biopsy for a mass on her liver in a few days. So things are pretty hit and miss right now. Keep me informed, as I will for you...

My prayers go out to your wife and you for a successful operation and speedy recovery ! My hopes are to pull this off sometime in May or June , We can adjust
the dates to hopefully accomodate as many as possible !

Thanks Ratchet, we need the prayers. Bless her heart she commanded me to go out and shoot pool last night. She has been on pain medication and I stay right with her most of the time.

Played Straight pool with a friend of mine first time in 5 years. I won both matches but boy I'm rusty at that game!

My wife had cancer of the spine at 13 years of age which they got all of it with surgery , 1 1/2 years after we married she ended up a paraplegic as a result . We have been married for 22 wonderful years and I worship the ground she walks on (so to speak) we have been blessed with 2 great kids one 20 the other 16 . 2 years ago she lost her left breast due to breast cancer , we have been through a lot together and life aint easy but you go on day by day and hope for the best .. She also "forces" me to go out and play pool , just to get me out of the house and give her some peace and quiet I think lol ....... I am on a lot of pain medication myself due to a past spine injury and degenerative disc disease so I know how that is too
