Ol;d Predator shaft I believe.

I have a Predator shaft with no marking down by the joint. I am pretty sure it is a old shaft. I was wondering if anyone had a idea how old this shaft is?
 
If there are no markings, how do you know it is a predator? Pictures would help a lot.
 
Cuefix is spot on. I believe the first Predator shafts were 12 piece with a 1 inch ferrule. Then they changed to less pieces with a 3/4 ferrule. Someone mentioned here that the ferrule material was called Isoplast. Something like that. But around that time Jerry Powers was selling multiple pie shafts. Predator was also selling partials and not all Cue makers put the logo on. Now, distrubitors are selling pie shafts.
