Old Brunswick cue for......

I have a 1921 balke cue. Sticker in 85% condition. It is a one piece cue.
It was a leather wrap, But the leather has come off and was dry rotted.
Im looking for ideas for conversion. Im thinking about getting one shaft out of it
by cutting it right off at the top of points(these are not venner'd points). Then using what i think is Braz. Rosewood for the butt. It's spiced about 3" under were the old leather was.
Or maybe someone wants to trade me a cue for it and save this piece of American history! SW, TAD, B.Z., Bala'. Only please!

u cant salvage the shaft in most cases. And since its the non veneered type of brunswick, u can be expected to fetch a healthy 100-250 for it on flea bay
