I am looking for an older Joss custom cue. The 1's that have the Joss name on the shaft collars and joint. Or if someone has an extra shaft with the Joss name on the collar i'd be very interested. You can e-mail me at roymjr2@aol.com
thanks

Those are from the early 90's, I think many here wouldn't consider that so old.

Gosh maybe i'm just looking at the "Blue book" wrong. But it looks to me like it says the 80's cue had the Joss name on the collars. I guess a couple decades isn't OLDER.

Up until 1988 Joss (east) used to put the joss logo on the collar along with the Year (example Joss 1985). And from what I can remember it started in 1983-88. In 1989-1990, just the word JOSS was engraved on the collar. After 1991 the JOSS logo was stamped in the butt cap of each cue for a few years. Prior to 1983, I really do not think, Joss had there name on any cue. You could email Joss cues and they are pretty good at responding.

I have owned mostly Joss (east) cues prior to 1989. Great construction, play and feel. Back then it seem they really put alot of thought and design into there cues. Also, back then up until the early 90's, Joss (east) sponsored both Mike Sigel and Nick Varner.

Thanks "justplay",
What i have looks like the J-19 only i have rectangle maple boxes in the butt instead of the maple diamond shapes.
Anyway the cue plays fantastic but i have only 1 shaft for it. I am looking to buy another shaft or 1 of the pre-89 Joss (east) cue's you spoke of. If you have any you'd like to sell please let me know.
thanks
