I was quoted the following for 4-5 year old floor model Olhausens:
1,799 - choice of one table: Augusta or 3 different Eclipse tables
345 - move / installation
299 - upgrade to Simonis cloth
As mentioned, the tables are all former floor models that have been sitting in a warehouse for a few years since the dealer (Danny Veghs) stopped selling Olhausens.
The Augusta is solid oak and the Eclipse tables are all different finishes of solid tulipwood. The Augusta is clearly higher quality with wider rails, pearl sightings and oak versus a softer tulipwood. However, I personally think the Eclipse looks a better.
Anyhow, is the oak Augusta going to be that much more durable than the tulipwood Eclipses? Are the general numbers of the quote decent? Thoughts?
Thanks in advance!
