Omega Cue question

omega info

This cue looks to be legitimate to me. Omega/dpks are usually not signed or marked but will have a cue # and date sequence of numbers on the wood shoulder under the bumper. Just pull out the rubber bumper and you should see it. Shafts may be marked right near the threads, as well. Sometimes they have their logo engraved on the pin or butt cap (usually higher end stuff). Seems to be reasonably priced. The cue has probably been refinished and lost the lip on the edge of the butt cap (this is pretty common). Some Omega's were made without the lip, but that's pretty rare....except on cues that were made druing their last year of existance. As I have been told, most then were made without it.

Hope this helps.

Joint pin is a 3/8X14, standard for Omega and Bender. The ring work looks like an Omega, if you can clean up the picture see if the white in the rings extend to the outer white rings but the veneers in between don't. Like boxed rings.

Many thx guys for your quick reply.
I wrote the seller a mail, perhaps he will answer my questions and send me some better pictures.

Just got an answer from the seller:
He said that under the butt cap the number is O3492 an he said that the cues must be from 1992.

So you´re right hat the cue is genuine.

Thx to all

The veneered cue is very nice as is the fancy Bender. The fancy Omega has what appear to be trademark inlays by DPK.
