omega/dpk 5pt blank??? highly possible
converted by whom?? i havent been able to verify, but the story i got was when omega closed shop, some people working/associated with omega were given some of the stock leftover.....
the pics tell the story better than i can but heres what i can describe.
what looks to be 5 pts of very dark brazillian rosewood with 6 VENEERS!!!!! yes...thats right..6 veneers...into a brazillian rosewood forearm....
veneers are blue black blue maple red black...inside to outside...the outside black is hard to see but it is there...
points are not perfect and the top of the tallest blue veneered points is missing//chipped out some on the turn down it looks like.
has compound taper and doesnt roll the best....
3/8-10 ff 1/2" white phenolic joint and the shaft has a white insert also, 1" white phenolic butt cap.
black polish stack leather wrap
no weight bolt and is finished off inside like a kersenbrock/older omega...butt is not sleeved!!!
the blank looks to be an omega to me..what do you guys think??
