On average what is the wall thickness of carbon fiber shafts?

From an "Old" newbie to this forum and custom cues - Just wondering about the wall thicknesses of carbon fiber shafts?? As far as applying a logo to a carbon fiber shaft asked about in another thread I'm wondering if just making a vinyl mask, sandblasting, carefully of course, and then fill it in with a paint of choice. Using some CA glue in the recess and applying a layer of powdered metal over it might be nice as well - Powered metal if used sparingly could also be applied to paint and then let dry.

Wall thickness can vary from 1.0 - 1.3 mm.
Most seem to be around 1.2mm.

Laser etching is commonly used for logos and such. Then, it only penetrates .05mm or so and is quite visible. You may choose to try something else.
