Thank you very much for participating in the Fall Handicap One-pocket tournament that should last about 3 months. To all that entered the event please use the enclosed card for one FREE day at Highpockets. This card will give you free pool on any table except #6 and will be good one time. Please turn it in when you think is has it?s greatest value to YOU!
44 players entered this event?.and it is growing!! Please do the following things to make this a pleasant and smooth event for all. It is important that these steps be followed.
Keep up with the event by checking the board at Highpockets or Southaven Recreation Center. Also, the entry page at www.highpocketsinmemphis.com has the matches that are ?UNDER the Gun?. If your name is on this list contact your opponent and set a time up to play.
Call Highpockts and reserve table #6 unless both of you agree to play on another table. If at all possible give us 24hrs notice on matches.
If a match has been scheduled for 6 p.m. on a day, please don?t set your match for 5 p.m! Allow 4 hrs for your match. That means you could start at 2 p.m. or before and all would be well. Think about others before you pull this on your fellow competitors.
If you want your great grandmother to become ill just put your match off until the last day and it will happen?..DON?T do it. We will not be friendly if You are continually the player we are waiting on?You will not be invited back!
First Place is $2,000, 2nd $1,000, 3rd $500, 4th $400, 5th and 6th $300, 7th and 8th $150 each. THIS IS LARGE!!! This is serious. Treat it as such. Play with honor and respect for your fellow competitor. There are chairs at the head of table #6, get in or around one when it is not your shot. Your opponent doesn?t have to shoot until you do so! Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be rewarded??..enough said!!!!
The DOUBLE OUT TOURNAMENT WITH NO ENTRY FEE is composed of the players that lose two matches in a row and will start when all the spots are fill?probably 16 or so players. This will be a single elimination tournament for $400. Table #3 is the default table for this tournament. You may play on #6 or any other table as long as both players agree. If a match is being held up in the Main Event on #6 you must move if you are holding a match up.
Please do your part to set these matches up without getting Bill involved. It will be better for both players and your individual corporation will guarantee you ?breaks? when you truly need them.
Table time is coming back to you. Pay for your matches. Suggestion, you and your opponent PLAY for the time?THAT?S THE SPIRIT!!
