One Pocket Question

This could happen in any game, however I'm curious to the ruling in this not so common situation. Playing one pocket, my oponent shoots at two balls very near his pocket and they both get stuck in the jaw. What's the rule? Thanks for your input.

This question has been asked a million times in every game and the answer is always the same. If the balls are stuck in the jaws... If you were to remove one would the other one fall? If so then yes it counts as pocketed. Draw a straight line down through the ball and if there's nothing under it to hold it up then it would be pocketed.

We always play that it is YOUR turn to shoot and you can make the balls nor try to get them out. lol

FWIW, I think if the balls are off of the playing surface the rules say that they go down and it is still your opponent's continues shooting.

(On some pool Tables because of the deep shelves of the pockets, the balls might still be supported by the shelf and would in fact remain in play)

That's how we played it. I don't play much and the last time it happened was 16+ years ago. Thank you
