One Pocket Rules??

Can somebody help me with some one pocket rules? I've looked around on the web, and although several sites list rules, they didn't answer my particular questions.
1) When a player commits a non scratch foul, what happens?
(I know he loses a ball by either spotting one that he has pocketed, or in the case of not having pocketed a ball, he is minus one ball? And, since it was a non scratch foul, does play continue from the CB placed as is?)

2) A scratch? I assume this is also minus a ball, and the other player gets free ball in the kitchen? What if all remaining object balls are in the kitchen, can the player with ball in kitchen shoot directly at one of the balls, or does he/she have to go the length of the table for a kick?

3) If a player pockets a ball in a pocket OTHER than one of the two pockets in play, this is not a foul right? Play just changes to the other player with the CB played as is? Does the pocketed ball get spotted immediately, or at another time?
Thanks,
dave

CB stays where it is.

Scratching player must spot a ball, Therefore, a shootable ball should be on the foot spot. In the event the offending player must owe a ball, then yes, you must kick down table first.

3) If a player pockets a ball in a pocket OTHER than one of the two pockets in play, this is not a foul right? Play just changes to the other player with the CB played as is? Does the pocketed ball get spotted immediately, or at another time?
Pocketed ball should be spotted before the incoming player shoots.

Actually, if a player that has zero balls scratches when all the balls are behind the head string (when they have no balls to spot), the incoming player has the option of having the ball closest to the head string spotted -- they don't have to kick at the balls.

One more question. If a player commits a foul before he has pocketed any balls, it's my understanding that he/she assumes a minus 1 score for the foul. I've seen this marked by pennies on the rails, or chalkboards. My question is, when the player with a minus score pockets his first ball, does he spot that ball to equalize his/her minuse score? Or does that ball just stay down, with the point awarded accordingly?
If such balls are not spotted, it seems to me that the player that started in the negative before his first pocketed ball would need to pocket more balls than the winning number of 8, so is there ever a sutuation where neither player has scored 8 pockets with no more balls left to play? If so, I assume that balls need to be spotted to continue the game, so when are these balls spotted? When the player at the table runs out of balls and is still in the middle of the run? Then I can assume that a guy that needs two more points, but only has one ball left on the table, then he/she needs to pocket that last ball while playing shape on the ball that will be spotted on the foot in order to win?
Thanks guys,
dave

If you owe a ball, then it's spotted after the inning that you make a ball (or more).

If you are playing a long game (2 scores add past 15...10-8, etc) then this is treated the same.

One to www.onepocket.org for complete rules.
