I was playing one pocket against a guy from Mobile years back......He wasn't sure how I played and was kinda leary of playing. But I got him to play for 50 a game. After 3 games I was up 3.......and in the 4th game there were 2 balls left, And I needed both! He got a lucky roll and left me straight in to his hole, hid behind a ball. The ball close to his hole was out far enough that it was a relativly easy cross bank. I just had to shoot a combo to get to a cross bank....lol! I figured what the hell....I was winner....and I needed both balls. Plus with the right speed one ball goes to my hole, the other goes back up table to my side...and the cue ball gets over by the side rail.
I got lucky and hit it perfect! The ball cross banks......the other goes back up table.....and I even get a bank at my hole!......I slow roll the bank on the winning ball, and the guy loads up his cue and case, and makes a quick exit! All the way back to Mobile thinking I was GOD!........when actually I hittem like a shortstop!
