I recently acquired a Scruggs cue and I am thinking about purchasing an extra shaft. What cuemaker would you AZer's recommend I use in order to have a new shaft built for the cue? I would prefer to go with Tim Scruggs but due to the recent passing of Mike Cochran R.I.P his shop is closed.

If I were you, I'd wait til the shop opens again, especially if you don't need it right away. I don't know what the turn-around time is now that Mike is gone, though.

I don't know if James White will make a shaft for a different cue maker's cue but he does excellent work. Never hurts to drop him a line and ask.

he'd be my first choice
