Opinions on a light to buy

I want opinions on which of these 2 lights to buy. I have to decide asap as the table is coming next week.
Some background info: Table is 8 foot dark coffee color.

1st light is: Brunswick Centennial nickel 3 shade pole light: 66 inches long

2nd light is: PR54-ST brushed steel 3 shade chain light: 54 inches long

Which light do you think looks better and is a good fit for an 8 foot table?

1st light is stylish but the colour doesn't match ur tbl..yet on the other hand, 2nd light looks rather common but matches ur tbl well..
IMO i'd go for the 1st light still :)

Both lights are actually a brushed silver color. The pics online were off a bit

-I welcome everyone's opinion on the look and the lengths of the lights.
 
I would go with the 1st light and get more light/area covered with the extra 12 inches in length.. shorter just might make a few more shadows on the balls. a room here had the shorter lights and thats what happened. so they got bigger/longer lights.......just my $.02 worth.........mike

Anyone have a preference? I have to order it today. Also, is the 66 inch light too long for an 8 footer? Thank you for all input.
 
Personally I think the second one looks much nicer. Either of the two should provide sufficient lighting.
 
I'm sorry. i did'nt read your original post right. i would go with that shorter of the 2 since the table is a foot shorter... sorry for the mix up......mike
