I would like you guys opinion on the cue below. I’m looking to take the carbon fiber plunge but I don’t want to pay $800+ for one. I’m not a high level player and don’t need the top of the line equipment. I’m wanting a carbon fiber cue for the low maintenance (cleaning, less dings). The deflection doesn’t really matter to me. The main reason I’m looking for you guys opinion is that I don’t want to unknowingly purchase a Walmart quality cue. I simply want a solid hitting cue at a reasonable price.

I got a 11.8 shipped it back immediately the same day for a refund, though you said you don't care about deflection, well this shaft deflected more than a maple shaft. That was just my experience with it also the shafts tapper was inconsistent. I have heard decent reviews on the break cues though.

Get a Cuetec Avi cued, not a CF shaft but it's coated, has good hit feel and is pretty cheap. In 30+ years of playing I have never had to stop using a maple shaft due to dings/dents on it and some of the shafts I have used for a decade or more. I have a set of shafts from a friend that is 20 years old, in great shape.
