Opinions please - Medalist vs GC

I'm considering replacing my 8ft Olhausen Eclipse at home with a 9ft table and I'm curious to know what noticeable differences there are between a Medalist (like the one pictured below) and a GC IV.

Bearing in mind, that this is for home use only, what would I be missing out on by installing a Medalist rather than a GC IV?

given the fact that both the Med and GC will play the same if setup by a good mech it comes down to price. I would opt for the GC IV if it wasn't much more money. Say 1000 for the Med if in good cond and 2 for the GC IV or around there. Then you have a better built table(not playing) and easier to sell later at some point. JMO
