I'm not sure what you're asking. If you're asking whether there are players who frequent those rooms, the answer is yes,or at least it was a couple years ago. I ad a few beers with the earthquake and his SO Jennie at Orange Ball, and the same night I played Mike Davis in a little weekly tournament. There were a number of other pretty sporty players there that night too.
 
im asking weather or not there are really good players here or is this more of a hang out spot thanks
 
Go there (Orange Ball) on Wednesday night, there's a $20 entry tournament starting at 8 (tables available at 6). You can find people to gamble with before and after. I've never gambled for more than $100/race to 7 or 9, but there are others who go higher.

There are usually 3-6 A-players/shortstops/pros there, with a bunch of other people like me. Mike Davis doesn't live in the area anymore, so it's unlikely to see him there.
