Original McDermott (Maple) Joint Protectors

I have a friend looking for an original set McDermott (Maple) joint protectors.

The set pictured here are from a D-5 McDermott that I purchased in 1984.., I still have the cue and I'm not willing to part with the JP's.

Does anyone ever see these JP's offered anywhere?

I got lucky and found six sets at a local Billiard Supply store...., a salesman found them stored in a draw behind the counter so I bought all he had.
