Other Carbon Fiber Shafts For Cuetec

Hey guys! I have a Cuetec Prestige & the Truewood as well as an Avid. 20mm & 21.3mm joints, respectively- I think. Looking for a carbon fiber shaft that fits these joints “flush” & are neither Revo or Cynergy. Thanks in advance!

Rhino makes that thread. Finding an EXACT flush joint fit can't always be done. Rhino says their's are all 21.5mm which is about .846 iirc. You might ask them if they can make the size you want. Good shafts for the $. I think their fall sales are either on now or coming up.

21.3mm is pretty close to the standard .840" size that a lot of aftermarket shafts feature.

Jacoby makes one that size for Cuetec:

Going to have a much harder time finding something 20mm that will fit I think, don't know of any myself.

Looking to get something cheaper than a Cynergy 🤞

they worth 600bux?? no way i'd ever spend that on one shaft.
I think that's subjective, that's what all the premium brands cost. I have sold quite few and people prefer the hit over Cuetec and Predator. No issues with ferrules "melting" like Cuetec and the ability to be able to change threads in an instant is pretty smart.

Have you thought about buying a CF blank with a joint diameter close to the Cuetec joint? I did this for my grandson’s R 360, just needed to flare the joint slightly. I don’t recall the source, but I found the blank online. Just a suggestion.

cuetec and go customs are both over $200 less where i live. that's not chump change. whyte's are 600 and tiger is 550. no way they are 3x better than a Rhino.

Having seen and played with all the shafts you mention and repaired a few Rhino already I can tell you that they are indeed quite different, but the price difference is a subjective thing so I leave that up to the buyer 🙂

there's about ten or so Rhino's where i play and no one as had any issues at all so far. no rattles, loose ferrules, nothing.

I like the hit of mine better than REVO and have three joints for it.

Rhino, these are very nice shafts for the money. I have 3 of them, and I like them all. Sometimes the fit isn't perfect, and I have had to take the edge off of the shaft piece so I wouldn't feel it as I rub my hand over it. When ordering a shaft for a particular stick, nobody can ever assure you of a perfect fit, except for Cuetec on Cuetec for example. The only other way is to send your stick in to have it matched and that is a pain in the rear and can be costly I suppose.

I would really like to try a Whyte shaft, they look nice and the interchangeable joint is great. I can handle the $600 price but I like a 30" shaft and they want an extra $150 for that one extra inch, which is ridiculous, especially compared to the small $30 price increase Predator charges for the same.

If they ever get a more reasonable price for their 30" shafts I'd give one a try.

They seem a bit expensive, especially for that extra inch you are talking about. That surprises me that it costs that much for one extra inch? The Rhino comes at 30 in, and you can get them for under $200. Like I mentioned in an earlier post, I have three of them, two players, and one breaker. Several people at the hall I play with have them as well and I haven't heard a bad word about them from all the guys, especially for the price.

I will mention this next time I speak with the sales rep. I agree with you, $150 upcharge is pretty wild. I know they view everything else than 29" length as a custom order, but I think shafts should be available in both 29" and 30" as with most brands.
