Out of Date Threads?

What's with all the out of date threads all of a sudden?? Seems I have seen several of these lately.

The ones I have seen were the result of someone new to the board obviously doing a search on old dvd threads. He then asked to purchase some form people that have passed away since and that have been baned since then.Obviously he was new to the board.
