Cue #3--- This is a "sneaky Pete" cue that became popular in the
early 80's. The cue was made by "Tim Scruggs cues" during that era.
The date is not known but it had to be in the early 80's. I purchased
the cue from a player named Rick Elwood in 1984 who had converted it
into a 24 oz. break cue. There are two 12mm shafts with this cue with
solid black shaft rings. The butt plate is plastic and is typical of
"Joss" and "Scruggs" manufacturing.

cue#2--- black/ivory inlays---this cue was purchased, by me, from
"Joss Cues" in either 1971 or 1972. Danny shop was located on 39 th
street at the time. When purchased it had a plain black butt. I had
Danny make a nylon joint for this cue instead of Ivory, because the
majority of Ivory joints were cracking due to temp. changes. At that
time there were very few pool cue cases that protected your cue from
the weather. In 1972 or 1973 I took the cue back to Danny and had the
ivory inlay work added to the cue. The cue is 59.5 in. long and weighs
20.5 0z. The( two ) shafts match the butt perfectly and are like brand
new. They are 11.5 mm. and are tapered to 16 in. The cue has never
left my possession, it plays solid and is straight.
