Palmer / Paradise

Thanks for letting us have a look at those old Palmers and Paradise cues. I really think another under appreciated cuemaker was Verl Horn. His cues just don't bring the money I think they should IMHO. Look forward to seeing more of the Paradise cues my friend that passed had one of the Diamond King cues he bought from Paradise and his son has it now.
One reason Verl's work does not get the bucks is because he built his cues using premade Prather points and parts. Verl was partners with Prather and sold out to Prather and was given a discount for life on anything he bought.

JOE,
I'M DOING ALL I CAN TO GET OUT OF HERE, AND YOU COME HERE FOR VACATION? JUST DON'T STAY TO LONG, OR YOU'LL REALIZE THERE ISN'T ANYTHING TO DO.

LOL.. for an outsider the Pocono's offer plenty to see. But you're probably right, it's somewhat limited.

Verl was a nice guy to talk to on the phone. I ordered a cue from Randy Anderson back in 88', who learned from Verl. I asked him one day as he was making my cue, who taught you? He went into this lengthy story about Verl and it piqued my curiosity enough I ordered one from Verl also. Had I known Verl was also a master of Bushka-esque cues I would have gotten one from him instead of the one I designed.
