Sold Palmer PB7 cue, 3 shafts & Palmer case

I have a Palmer PB7 I bought in the early '80's, it comes with three shafts. The butt is 15.70 oz and has a few small dents and scratches in it and has beautiful colors and sharp points. The wrap is in good shape and is not fraying or coming loose in any way.

The shafts are as follows; #1 w/yellow ferrule, 13mm, 4oz, rolls straight. #2 white ferrule, 13.03mm, 3.9 oz, slight taper roll. Shafts 1 and 2 when on the butt rolls flat and straight. Shaft #3, white ferrule, 13.38mm 4 oz, this has a slight warp to it when screwed to the shaft but the ferrule does not leave the surface. This shaft also has a uniform tooling mark/scratch about an inch from the joint. Looks like when it was in a lathe it was contacted slightly by a cutting tool.

I also have a genuine Palmer case I bought at the same time, it holds 1 but and 2 shafts, it is in very good shape and has heavy hardware and hinges on it. The locks work and I have one key for it.

I always liked the color combo of this cue. I'd rather sell the entire package for $425.00 and I'd pay the freight anywhere in the continental US for that. I'd sell the case alone for $85 and the cue with 3 shafts for $350.00 if I were to split them up. I can take paypal. If anyone needs anymore pics LMK, thanks.

Very fair price and very nice description! I loved all of my Palmer cues that passed through my hands- and there were many! All played very well and Palmer made cues to last more than one lifetime as evidenced by your cue once again! My one remaining Palmer is a gem in my now diminished collection- but here to stay with me- the new owner will be very pleased with this acquisition!

If I had to rate the best " production" cues with significant historical evidence of lasting quality - Palmer is on my short list for sure.

I've had this cue close to 40 years and it was my player for many years. I retired the Palmer in 1996 when I bought a Schon, (and now have three of them). The Palmer has a removeable weight bolt and the same joint style, (not pin) as my Schons and plays very similar to a Schon. If the Palmer was a 5/16-14 pin I'd probably keep it.
