Patching Subrails

I am putting together an old Brunswick Sport King table, and two of the rails decided to take a little of the subrail with them when they came off. What do you guys do when this happens? It isn't a lot of material so I was thinking that I could simple use some filler, but I wasn't sure what to use. So what do you guys think is my best option here?

Bondo works great for this.

Yes, bondo is about as good as anything. I had the same situation Friday with an old table. I was 80 miles from home with no Bondo. I used 1/2" long staples to reach some good wood and that got me out of my bad situation. Just depends on how bad the wood is too.
