I am curious to see which of the men's pros you would actually pay to watch in a tournament? Just the one's living in the USA.
Say $20 per day.

Immediate names that come to mind for me would be Strickland, Sigel, Archer, Hopkins, Immonen, Hall, Deuel, Morris, Varner, Jones, Rempe, Hernandez, Robles, Eberle, Frank, Townsend, Harriman.

Hi Jake,

I think everyone on your list has more talent than a baseball shortstop and they make millions more than pro pool players. I paid $50.00 for one Red Sox's ticket so you are under priced.

Everyone on this list is worth $50.00 a day except Immonen and Duel who are both way over rated. Where is Charlie Williams and Tommy Kennedy?

Cheers,

Gremlin

Why do you think Immonen and Deuel are way overrated?

I would pay 20 bucks to watch any pro tournament that is pretty cheap if you ask me.

I payed 40.00 to play in tournament, the second person I played was earl strickland. needles to say he waxed my a** but it was fun STICK

the filipinos,,,,anyone new and upcoming, strickland, morris, immonen, anyone unusual, like a top rated snooker or 3 cushion player.

it's more like i'm bored watching 9ball. it's a game that doesn't test the skills of the players, unless there's a deep safety match.

I'd spend $100 if they were all there. My three favorites to watch have to be Pagulayan, Bustamante and Strickland. I would add Efren to the list in a heartbeat but I haven't yet had the privilege to watch him play.

Harry, I meant to include Kennedy. He's right up there with the best of them.

I used $20 just as a median figure.

I included Immonen as a choice because he spends a lot of time in New York even though he is from Finland and has opened a bar in the Philippines. It looks like he is in the States enough to join a new league.

I was just curious if a new Men's Pro League started up who the drawing cards would be.

The last 6 players on this list are below the poverty level for a family of four according to hhs stats.

Helena Thornfeldt $24,190.00

Hui Kai Hsia $23,000.00

Jeremy Jones $22,885.00

Chin-Shuen Yang $22,400.00

Santos Sambajon $20,525.00

Jim Rempe $20,025.00

This list seems to not be up to date because Jeremy Jones just won $30,000 in the U.S. Open, and I believe Santos rung up a couple as well in recent weeks, but no question, considering travel expenses, entry fees, and the like, the standard of living for tournament players seems to be on the bottom rung in the sports world.

I can think of several exceptions, though, who do break six figures easily before the end of the year through good sponsors in addition to tournament winnings.
