Hi All, I have the chance to buy a 2003 P-10 in pretty good shape, Pechauer are priced like mid range production cues, but like on e-bay the prices are very low? The hit is pretty good but is a Pechauer a cue people save for any appreciation? I'm not familar with them, are they well made for a production cue? any input would be helpful, thanks

I can't say that I've owned one, but I've shot with one for about 4 hours.

I liked it's response, but felt a little dead on extreme english shots.

That was years back, but at least the wood to wood joint still made it sing when it hit a cue ball. To this day, I think it was condition of the tip that made the feel of the cue feel weak.

Pechauer made some exceptional cues, and most was in the hands of compitant players. Personally, I'd pick one that has been played with, rather then have been shelved for the "Virgin" factor.

A cue isn't worth a damn, unless it has a response. Only way to find that out is to shoot with it.

Get the history of the stick, verify, then buy.

Else... don't

Pechauer Cues are very good.

The Pechauer Cue is right up there with a Schon... It's a very good production cue & there are several different grades. If you are a good player, you will enjoy using this cue. If you purchase one used & take care of it, you can sell it later for what you have in it. The Pechauer company is made up of several very nice people, their customer service is right up there.

I've shot with a Pechauer custom cue since late 2003/early 2004. It has a nice feel to it & it plays quite well in my opinion. It's a purchase that I've made with no regrets as far as cues go & I have no intention of selling it at some future date either. The shaft I play with the most is tipped with a Stratos extra hard tip with a pad.

However, I've not heard good things from a lot of players about the lower priced "JP" line. I tried one once out of curiousity & to me, it just didn't feel as solid or play as well as the Pechauer cue I normally use.

I use a Pechauer JP series cue. I thinks its fantastic hitting cue. I've just recently bought a Z shaft with moori and it plays even better now.

I happen to own two Pechauer cues. One is a limited cue(1 of 25) and the other is a SP style. I really like both of these and anyone who has hit a few balls with either one has liked the hit.

Thank you all for relying, It's a professional series and I'm going to pick it up today. Thanks again and have a great day
