This was a pleasant surprise. First, I ordered a $275 cue, but got a $300 one because Seybert's was out of the particular model I ordered.
Specs:
SS Joint collar
JP proprietary pin
19 oz.
tip: Emerald
diam: I had it turned down to 12.25 (13 is standard)
I am very happy with the stick:
It has a nice firm hit, without being overly stiff. There's good feedback in the tips of my fingers on the stroke. There's a lot of "bling" for the money. While that has nothing to do with play ability - it's a nice plus as far as looks. It shoots like a $300 plain jane - with the flash of ... maybe a $500 stick. It also has some nice (although plastic) joint protectors.
It is very consistent - and deflection is pretty low for a stock shaft. (maybe a 1" on an 8' table. More than Joss stock shafts, but less than Schon)
Pechauer has a solid offering - and offers good prices for the flash you might want.
Without bringing custom cues into the mix - On a scale of 1-10, I would rate this at about a 7.5
Below a Joss or Schon, but above a McDermott or Viking.
