Sadly my playing was not so great the night I got to use my Pechauer jump cue for the first time ... BUT! I had to jump the ball 4 times during my match and was sucessful on all of them.... This cue makes it very easy to hop the ball up in the air.. I do however need to get a little more used to it so I can make better attempts to pocket what I am jumping at ifpossible

All in all, amazing product:smile:

I just bought one a couple of months ago or so. I completely agreed that this is a very good product. I've never own a jump cue before, but this thing makes it easy to get the cue ball up & over.

I agree that if you got a good jump-technique, the PJ is perfect for every distance! But this tip doesn't hold chalk at all. So you can't neither add some back spin nor any english at all, on your jumpshot...
For 135$ (even till 400$) you will find nothing better!
But there is still something bizzare: If you really had to jump 4 times in one match, your oppponent is either a big devensive save player or ...?!
All the best, al-capool

I use blue Diamond chalk and the phenolic tip holds it fine... I also scuffed the tip with sandpaper, just to improve the chalk hold a bit.. I make sure it's chalked fully before each jump..

and yeah, the match this happened in I got put in some tough spots...

I've owned a JP jump since 2011 when I purchased it at the Billiard Expo. It is indeed a pretty decent jump cue but I absolutely love my samsara jump/break.
