Cue-nique closed yrs ago. Club Med is still up and running. Bert Kinister opened up a pool room also but for the life of me, I can't remember the name of it. I went to club med yrs ago and couldn't stand it... too many kids for me. I don't know if it's changed or not. Bert's place also gets some kids but nothing close to club med. Capt'n would know better than myself but if I'm not mistaken, you stand a better chance of getting action (if that's what you're looking for) at Bert's than club med. I don't think you're going to find any high betting action but they could end up making a liar out of me.Pizza Bob said:

Berts room is called Ding DOng Daddy's , on hist last tapes he said he changed the name to cue academy of pool school. I am not sure. It is in Mechanicsburg Pa, close to hburg.

Worked for the State in Harrisburg for many years, I believe Bert's place is on the Carlisle Pike??? He opened it after I retired.
If you head over the Market St. bridge from downtown Harrisburg and follow Market St til it ends (about 30 blocks ) at Route 11/15 and continue straight on that is the Carlisle Pike on the other side of Route's 11/15.
Bert has a web site and I believe it's listed in his ad in one of the major billiard mags, but for the life of me I can't remember which one. You might be able to search the net and find his site, I do believe it contains some form of his name; e.g. www.kinister.com or www.bertkinister.com or www.bkinister.com; something like that.
Okay, just went and did a search of the super yellow pages; Bert's place isnt' there yet but if you go to the following web site you can find just about any pool hall in the country, and for that matter anything else; complete with MAPS. This is what I used to find my why to the Joss, Hampton Ridge, and Planet Pool tours until I upgraded to a GPS system for my car's PC.
I was at Eight on the Break in Mech. a few times about 10 years ago; I remember the place to be very "ifffy" on when it opened.

Cue-nique's closed, and if I'm not mistaken, one of the 8 on the breaks closed and I wouldn't suggest going to the one that is open. Drexeline is in the Allentown area which is at minimum an hour away(it's all in how fast/slow you drive). I've never heard of the village bowling ctr. There's also a place called BCA I think on Derry St in Harrisburg. I've heard about it but never went there.
