People who use chalk holders...what do you do when

the chalk grinds down to the level of the chalk holder? Put in a new chalk?

Was watching S. Seoa vs Pia Filler and saw Seoa's chalk holder (which is kinda nice) and it got me wondering.

I've never used a chalk holder in my life but I've seen many who do. Some of them are attached to huge magnetic devices sewn onto their front pockets.

Do you buy a bunch of chalk in bulk and keep switching them out?

many have a hole in the bottom so you can put a coin or something else in the bottom to raise it up
in the pics below you can see my chalk is the same height or alittle less that the height of the chalk holder
i put 2 washers in the bottom and i am good to go
you can also see the hole so that if the chalk get stuck you can poke it out
kudos to @iusedtoberich for making the chalkholder

Placing coins under them is an easy fix. Also taking a razor blade and trimming the rubber/plastic chalk holder about an eighth of an inch will work also. On some premium chalks like Taom the paper around them already has a couple scored off lines about 1/8 inch apart, which allows you to peel off a little of the chalk wrapping as you wear the chalk down. If it doesn’t, you can easily do it with a razor blade.
