Is anyone going to the 4 day class in IL? It features Dr. Cue, The Monk and The Teacher.....
Mike- Who is "the Teacher"? Where is he from? I know a guy in the St. Louis are who used to be a school teacher, now owns Teachers Billiards, is a pool instructor and is very successful! Same guy? (I apologize to the Teacher if I don't know him, no disrespect sir)

His name is Fred Fetcher and he is out of Illinois I am not sure where in Illinois but I think that it is Peoria.

What does the class cost and what are they going to talk about?
I've always been a little skeptical of those things. It may cost you a little bit more, but the experience you get from the school of hard knocks can't be reproduced in a generic environment.
In real game situations, you can learn what better players do/shoot at just by matching up w/them. Not only will you begin to shoot the right shots, but you may also begin to mimic their ability to not dog it. The Monk will tell you to go eat lunch with your Id, or something stupid.

It is not cheap, and I am a little skeptical as well but I want to get better and I personally know Tom (Dr. Cue) so I thought that I would give it a shot.

Just to let everyone know, the trip to Ill. was GREAT. There were 6 or 7 different instructors in all and it was the best money I have every spend on pool.
If I had it to do all over again I would go. Between "Dr. Cue", "The Monk" and "The Teacher" they could not have put on a better clinic than what they did. There were also inventations from people like Judik James, Scott Boyd, Tom Ross just to name a few.
I anyone has a chance to see any of these people at work I would have to say please don't miss it. You will be missing a great time if you do.
