I had a great night ,late night at shooters. Gene asked if I wanted to hit some. (practice) play cheap with a spot. I chose not to gamble today- better for me to get into his mind-even some of the odds, not much fun playing one's self. I pretty much started out just watching his game, talking ,willing to rack a few to see what fire power he had,or listen to any stories he had about playing lately. After all the stuff about an upcoming match between Chris (for 5,000)He was open and Honest. He's still a hustler at heart, He didn't sit exactly still and came from his chair too quick. but does love the game of pool. After all it was a free shot into his mind tonight. Little did he(he will now) know I could be the wolf in sheep's clothing. I have not been exactly in his corner. I was watching his aiming mostly(eyes). Pretty soon he offered advise ,because I did miss a few balls close to the pocket. (cutting to the left) I took the advise ,and I COULD ACTUALLY SEE THE ANGLE BETTER . Simple adjustment actually. Wrote down a few notes when I returned home 4am. I will say Gene could actually help others play better especially in Person(lessons). His Perfect aiming Technic did help me! Hope everyone can understand me today- mark
