Is the Peter Vitale 9' table just a pretty piece or does it play just as well?
They made pretty nice stuff. Way better than the Chinese import shit you see so much of.Is the Peter Vitale 9' table just a pretty piece or does it play just as well?
Vitale tables are known mainly for their elaborate carvings on their frames, legs and aprons, such as the Lord Nelson model. As far as playability, I don’t think there’s anything special about them – just a very nice furniture style table. Is the Peter Vitale 9' table just a pretty piece or does it play just as well?
I had a Vitale 7’ table (Signature Gore Gulch). It was a beautiful furniture piece. The stock rails I had played short like diamond tables. The side pockets were way too wide. The corner pockets had leather inserts that weren’t flush and would kick balls out of the pocket. I’m not savvy enough to know if those problems translate to other tables of theirs and if they were solvable issues on my end.
