Phenolic Break Tip

Are these outlawed everywhere? Any one know if they are still legal in some leques? Is jumping the cue ball outlawed as well with a phenolic tip? Thanks!

I believe it's in BCA Leagues that they are not allowed on break cues. (Not 100% sure)

Latest I heard they are banned on break cues in the BCA at the national level. They are allowed on jump cues in the BCA.

APA allows them. APA does not allow jumping except for the Masters league.

The BCA banned phenolic tips on break cues only, this rule was enforced in Vegas during the National event. You can still use a phenolic tip on a jump cue.
As far as local tournies, it varies, ask your local league operator.
