Semis 1: Alex Pagulayan vs Gandy Valle (for the hot seat)
Semis 2: Jeff de Luna vs Ronnie Alcano

Anyone knows anything about Jeff de Luna? looks to be a promising player.. He beat the following in the loser's side to reach the semis.

Jose Parica 9-5
Warren Kiamco 9-5
Ramil Gallego 9-4
Antonio Gabica 9-7
Dennis Orcollo 9-6

That's an impressive list of opponents he beat!

Not that lucky. ^^

He's part of the stable of Perry Mariano's billiard stars which includes Ronnie Alcano, Dennis Orcollo, Gandy Valle and Antonio Gabica. What's scary is he's 22 years old and possesses the strongest break among the Filipinos.

He's an amazing young talent who has caught the eye of Luke Riches of Matchroom Sport recently during his recent visit here.

You guys will have a chance to see him in the World Pool Championships since the top 4 of the Philippine Nationals qualify there.

It isn't a hot seat in the strictest sense. After the double elimination format determines the final four, then it goes into a knockout.

The biggest surprise among the Filipinos actually is Rolando Garcia - who ended up in 5th and 6th place. The rumors are is that he's Efren Reyes' protege, as they both hail from Pampanga and Efren was seen coaching him during the qualifiers (he wasn't seeded into the main tournament...)
