Up for sale is my uncle’s Phillippi, it has been my playing cue for about 5 months—he has a new cue on the way so needs to get rid of it. This is probably the best hitting cue I’ve ever played with, it actually improved my game. The pics say it all but here’s the words.
• Highly figured birdseye maple forearm
• 6 Supersharp long high/low ebony points with triple veneers (purple, blue, black).
• Black Lizard Wrap and Rick puts on one of the best wraps out there!!
• 6 matching ebony widows in the Purpleheart buttcap with triple veneers (purple, blue, black).
• The best part is the piloted 5/16-14 Ivory Joint, gives the cue a tremendous feel and hit!
• Two shafts with Ivory Ferrules: 13mm (new talisman WB med tip), 12.2-3mm
Only two minor blems: two mm sized chips in the buttcap that have been repaired very well, no reason to replace the buttcap, I cannot even photograph it. Rick noted it is a $50 repair but my philosophy; don’t fix what ain’t truly broke. And one tiny finish nick in the forearm that you really cannot see either but…..
I cannot tell you how great this cue plays and you can steal it for the best offer. Rick at the Expo noted this cue has a retail of about $1500+. Don’t let this cue make it to ebay. I’d take paypal or certified check or money order. Prefer the last two as there are no fees (Id have to add 3% for a paypal payment.
